Selecting Course Tools and Components
Learning pathways can be structured in Vista using organiser pages or learning modules.
Organiser pages are empty pages to which you can add components. The Home page is an example of an organiser page.
Learning modules are like organiser pages in that you can add components to them. With learning modules however you can structure content hierarchically in a table of contents to determine the order in which content is presented to students.

Some tools can be added only to the Course toolbar, while some may be placed on organiser pages or in learning modules. Note that when a tool is placed on the Course Toolbar, it links to all instances of that tool (eg, list of all course discussion topics), while adding the tool to an organiser page or learning module links to a specific instance of the tool (eg, specific discussion topic).
